Descripción

The Nanomagnetism Group (www.nanomagnetismo.cl) is conducting basic and applied world-class research in the field of magnetism in nanoscale structures. The group staff has long-standing expertise and proven track record in fundamental and applied aspects of nanomagnetism, especially on nanowires and nanotubes. Experimental work in the nanomagnetism group is performed by means of equipment especially dedicated to our research lines. The fundamental mission of the laboratory is the development and study of applications coming from the synthesis, characterization and modeling of magnetic nanostructures. The group has also access to the Cedenna Laboratories fully equipped for the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles: material growth and nanofabrication, non-magnetic characterization and magnetic characterization.
