Descrption of the Outreach Activity “Proyects in Optics”
The main objective is to show the optics by means of experiments. The outreach activity will be focused
on students of all science areas and schools. To reach the desired impact we will install an interactive
exhibition considering different optical phenomena as interference, diffraction, reflection, refraction,
optical specroscopy etc. The exhibition will be mounted at the teaching optics lab of the Physics
Department, Universidad de Santiago de Chile for a period of two weeks and will be visited by schools and
different universities and general visitors.

Taller experimental, para estudiantes secundarios
caracteristicas de lentes convergentes, usando lupas y linternas como fuentes de luz.
Los estudiantes, descubren los principios de la fotografía, la vición, telescopios simples,
jugando con diferentes arreglos de lupas . El taller fue realizado por el miembro del Chapter Pablo Fredes Donoso.
