Actividad:
Experimental condensed matter physics. Scientific instrumentation. Spintronics. Antiferromagnetism. Materials science. Magnetism in condensed matter. I designed, assembled and programmed a series of research grade experimental set-ups, otherwise unaffordable due their high cost. This includes the following equipment:
- Induction magnetometer with μ-emu sensitivity (Invention Patent 42-966-BAP)
- Set-up for magneto-optical detection of Spin-Ortbit Torques ( Manuscript submitted to Physical Review Applied )
- Magneto-optical Kerr effect magnetometer (MOKE) (Published in IEEE transactions on instrumentation and measurement)
- Photometric ellipsometer (Published in IEEE transactions on instrumentation and measurement)
- Broadband Ferromagnetic resonance spectrometer
- Thermo-electric magnetic hysteresis loop tracer system based on the Nernst or the Spin-Seebeck effects (Publised in Applied Physics Letters)
- Ultra-High Vacuum multilayer deposition system
