Activity: 
Assistant Professor and the Deputy Director of Media Relations in the Physics Department. She is a counsellor of the Faculty of Science and a member of the Council of Media Relations of the University of Santiago de Chile.
Her main lines of research focus on the impact of active learning in Physics and teacher training, integrating the gender perspective in various projects with national and international funding.
In 2020, she was recognized for her contributions to the dissemination of Science and education, among the 100 Women Leaders of Chile by the organization Mujeres Empresarias and the national newspaper El Mercurio. She was also awarded for Excellence in Media Relations by the University of Santiago de Chile.
In addition, she is a member of the IAU - National Astronomy Education Coordinator Team of Chile (NAEC Chile). She is also a co-founder and the first president of the Chilean Society for Physics Education (SOCHEF) and an active member of the Latin American Network for Research in Science Didactics (REDLAD), The Inter-American Dialogue for Scientific Education (MIDEC), the Chilean Society of Physics (SOCHIFI), the Chilean Society of Didactics, History and Philosophy of Sciences of Bellaterra and the Chilean Scientific Researchers Association, among other collaborative groups.
