Fernando Méndez Ferrada
In 2000 I obtained the PhD degree in Science, major in Physics at the University of Chile, for the thesis titled "Border Terms and Statistical Origin of the Entropy of Black Holes". Between 2011 and 2012 I assumed the position of director of the Physics and Astronomy Study Group of Fondecyt at the University of Santiago. Additionally, regarding the development of my teaching career, I have carried out various courses for the Doctorate in Science, Mention in Physics program, as well as for the Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics Education. My main research areas are: High Energy Physics, Quantum Gravity Phenomenology and Mathematical Physics. Activities in 2021: Teaching: Professor of undergraduate and graduate courses. Research: IR Dicyt-Usach project. Administration: member of the Postgraduate Committee.
