Paola Arias Reyes

My research area is Particle Physics. I have worked on extensions of the standard model and more recently on models with dark matter candidates. In particular, my research has been focused on the construction of models with light particles, such as axions, axion-like particles and hidden photons. I have also worked with heavier candidates such as Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs). My focus is on the phenomenology of these models, and how to look for signs of their existence (or how to put restrictions on their parameter spaces) using the astrophysical and laboratory observations.
