Mission

The Physics Department of the University of Santiago de Chile is committed to the creation and promotion of knowledge in our discipline. The training of professionals and formation of advanced human capital is essential, both from a personal career perspective, as well as from a perspective of other academic units. Research, teaching and environmental activities are carried out within a framework of excellence, aimed at contribution to the development and innovation of the society, in coherence with solving problems on national and international level.
